Managing individual users

If you are interested in more information about a user’s responses or assessment, you have the ability to view the following information.

  • The text of the learner’s response, including any files that the learner uploaded.
  • The learner’s grade for the assignment.
  • An overridden grade that was provided by course staff.

Accessing a Specifics Leaner’s Information

In order to access information about a specific learner’s assessment, you need that learner’s username or email address. Learner data can either be viewed on the instructor dashboard, for courses with fewer than 200 learners enrolled or downloaded as a .csv file.

View Learner Data on the Instructor Dashboard

This option is only available for courses with an enrollment of fewer than 200 learners.

  1. Navigate to EducateWorkforce and sign in to your instructor or staff account.
  2. Select the Instructor button.
  3. Navigate to the Data Download tab.
  4. Select the List enrolled students’ profile information button as seen below.
List enrolled students’ profile information button within the data download tab.

A table will be displayed with the profile data for each individual learner per row. Longer values, such as goals, are truncated. More information on individual columns can be seen below.

Download Learner Data

To download the learner data as a .csv file, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to EducateWorkforce and sign in to your instructor or staff account.
  2. Select the Instructor button.
  3. Navigate to the Data Download tab with your instructor or staff account.
  4. To download the data about enrolled learners within a course as a .csv file, select the Download profile information as a CSV.
A status message indicates that report generation is in progress. The number of learners in your course, and whether your course has the cohort feature enabled, affects how long this process takes. This process can take some time to complete, but you can navigate away from this page while the system processes your request.
  5. To save a student profile report, select the {course_id}_student_profile_info_{date}.csv under the section label Reports Available for Download at the bottom of the page.

With the saved student profile report, you will be able to view the information using any spreadsheet application that can open .csv files.
